Opening dates may be subject to change due to private events, maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances. We recommend checking our website or calling ahead before your visit.
The house and grounds are closed to visitors from mid-November until the following March to allow for essential conservation work and to respect the family’s private use of the home.
Occasionally, the house may be closed for weddings, corporate events, or filming. All closures are advertised in advance on our website and social media channels.
Milton Manor House is not open daily. Opening times apply only on published opening dates. We strongly advise confirming dates before making travel arrangements.

Please note: House tours are limited to small groups of up to 15 people to preserve the intimate character of the home.

Didcot Parkway station is 4 miles away. Taxi services available from the station, or connect via local bus routes to Abingdon.
Regular services connect Milton village with Abingdon and Oxford. The house is a pleasant 10-minute walk from the village bus stop.

Milton Manor House is a lived-in family home, cared for across generations. We ask that visitors treat the house, gardens, and furnishings with respect and consideration.
Children are warmly welcomed, though we request parents supervise them closely, both in the grounds where there may be hazards and particularly in the house where many items are fragile and irreplaceable.
Photography is permitted in the gardens but not inside the house. We kindly ask that you do not touch furniture, paintings, or objects unless invited to do so by a guide.
